Welcome to That Pilot Friend, a product owned and operated by Purple Aerotech. By registering an account, you agree to these terms.

1. Description of Service

That Pilot Friend is an automated notification tool designed for aviation professionals. It extracts schedule data from uploaded rosters and utilizes third-party global aviation data feeds to send WhatsApp alerts to designated contacts upon aircraft takeoff and landing.

2. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the roster uploaded.
You represent and warrant that you have obtained explicit consent from any third party whose WhatsApp number you input into our system.

3. Limitation of Liability and Service Expectations

Third-Party Data Dependency: Our service relies on enterprise-grade aviation data webhooks from third-party providers. Because this data is processed externally, there is a natural processing lag of a few minutes. Notifications are near real-time, but not instantaneous.
No Life-Safety Guarantee: That Pilot Friend is a convenience and peace-of-mind tool. It is not an official aviation safety, emergency, or life-saving tracking system.
Limitation of Liability: Purple Aerotech shall not be held legally or financially liable for delayed, inaccurate, or undelivered WhatsApp messages due to third-party data outages, telecom network failures, or WhatsApp API downtime.

4. Account Termination

Purple Aerotech reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account that is found to be misusing the service, violating these terms, or engaging in any activity that compromises the integrity, security, or availability of the platform for other users. In such cases, we may terminate access without prior notice.

5. Pricing and Beta Phase

That Pilot Friend is currently operating in an invite-only Beta testing phase, provided completely free of charge. Upon the conclusion of the Beta phase, the service will transition to a paid model offering monthly, quarterly, and annual subscriptions. Users will be notified prior to any billing changes.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
